I’m fairly new here too but I’ve learnt so much in just a few short weeks by browsing through the threads and asking questions when I’m not sure of something.
The people here have been a godsend really, so much more informative and supportive than my GP who simply said ‘you’re diabetic now’ and put me on metformin, giving no advice at all ( guess that’s better than the wrong advice!)
Anyway have a look around, I found answers to questions I hadn’t even thought of asking yet.
Btw I’m still struggling with the morning liver dump but have found a coffee with cream first thing stops bg continuing to rise throughout the morning. And it’s delicious.
Thanks for all your welcome messages. Just to clarify - I'm not on insulin or any medication for my diabetes. As to the morning liver dump, I shall certainly try what's been suggested with a coffee and cream in the morning.
