Just order meat, fish or whatever protein source you prefer, with a green salad and olive oil or no dressing. Don't expect hotel staff to know what's suitable, but be precise on your reasons for asking and what you need. Getting hotel staff on board is a breeze, and don't forget extra help = extra tip! If you discreetly tip at the start of your stay, it's better in co-operation terms than waiting until you leave. It doesn't have to be all that much as long as your thanks are sincere.
