I think one of the problems with doctors and nurses are that they see a whole lot of people with a wide range of health issues.
With blood sugar for example some of them may think borderline is quiet OK in comparison to other people they see with high blood sugar.
This is why one should always insist on getting your test results and determining things yourself and taking appropriate action i.e. diet change, more activity and loss of weight.
My doctor and the nurse who gave me the results see no problem with my recent results OGFT 5.6 fasting, 7 after two hours. I however, do see an issue, the numbers are creeping up and I'm doing something about it now (LC diet, losing weight, trying to be more active), not waiting until I'm told 'you're pre diabetic'.
I think that in comparison to other patients they see I look to be doing fine, but it's my life so I'm taking some control.
