If your bloods are in good order then there's no need to change things, however if your eating all the wrong foods then you may want to look at your diet more closely.
Basically there's no particular diet for type 1's as it's just the same as for those who don't have diabetes, the Mediterranean Diet is a well balanced diet and you wouldn't go far wrong if you followed that example, however it's always best to have some restraint when it comes to the carbs on your plate but by how much is an individual choice, I eat on average around 180g of carbs a day which suits me fine, some are lower some are higher.
