diet doctor question

I am. The cost varies slightly with the exchange rate (unless you're in the US), but you get:-

- Access to the full videos and transcripts of all the "teasers" on the site, plus a load more. Interviews, lectures and video courses with some of the big-name low carb expert.

- Access to "Ask the Expert", where you can ask a question which will be answered by - well - an expert.

I think all the articles, stories and recipes are free access anyway. I value the things I mentioned enough to keep on paying, at least for a while.

Hi
I am a member and it has been very worthwhile. I have watched all the videos and looked at the recipes and asked questions of the experts.
However, some of these are free and I am now finding my interest waning as I also access Zoe Harcombe and Jason Fung's websites and a wide number of articles recommended on DCUK. I would recommend joining because there is plenty there to get your teeth into and get full value from. Then it is up to you to judge when you are not using it enough to warrant the monthly fee. You can leave at any time with no penalty.

I am on the limited free version and at first found it very helpful, and gthe recipes were different and tasty so I learned a lot. However the American weighing and unusual vegs and ingredients began to be a little frustrating especially when I was feeling tired after coming in from work because I really didn't feel like doing all the maths and changing the recipes to suit what was available in the UK.
Now I look at the menus for inspiration and adapt them to out lifestyle and vegs in season, but its still a valuable tool and I think we're eating better. Is there still a free introductory option - if there is then go for it!

I joined dietdoctor.com to watch the Jason Fung video course on intermittent fasting and I am using it to lower my weight and hopefully reverse my type 2 diabetes. The website seems to be well presented and full of information of value to myself.

The first month is free and you can cancel at any time. After this the cost is $9/month.

There are a bunch of films and courses you can watch which I have found very useful.

Overall I think it is worth joining, even if you are a member for a short time.

I'm a paid up member too, I've found it a great source of info and figure the $9 price is worth it. The diet course is free to members anyway so that alone is worth it as you get all the meals planned and the shopping list. I started with the 2 week challenge which is free to everyone (or was) and printed off the recipes I liked and popped them in a folder.
