Hi, I wonder if anyone has any advice on injection sited for my daily injections. I currently inject 5 times a day and although I alternate my sites on either left side my stomach or right side my stomach the areas are becoming very painful to inject into. It's now got to the stage where I can't really inject into my left side because it's too sore. I'm a type 2 diabetic so I can't have a pump, although I did in hospital when I had my pulmonary embolism. I can't inject in my legs, my left one has hardly any sensation.

Can you try your bum? Upper arms?

Have you tried your midriff? Arms can also be used but I didn't do that very often, as I found it more painful.

What size needles are you using? 4mm or 6mm are thought to be the best sizes.

Tried injecting in bum, found it more painful than stomach. I only use 4mm needles. I'm going to look at the i-port. Not tried my arms, I don't usually do well with injections in my arms, they tend to make them swell up, but we will give it a go.
