Very lucky, clever girl I have a bouncy hyper Alaskan Malamute.
Awh, I love mals! Do you go mushing or canicross with him/her?
I used to have a husky and did both with him, great way to get them exercised without letting them off lead. I've a great fondness for the sled dog breeds, but no longer able for them with me no longer able for the active lifestyle I once lead.

I'm hoping to try a little bikejoring with Bob once the temps drop. He may be more of a liability than anything as he's all over the place out walking compared to a sled dog who will just get out up front and pull. You could teach the pup it's direction commands etc out walking to get a head start.

Yes, I've two of the canicross belts here at home.... didn't bring either with us, lol. Though tbh, he'd still have managed to pull the catheter out anyway even with one of those on I think. Just a bad place to put it when securing a dog around the waist I think. Live and learn!

My husky boy was strong, the belt was a huge help with him, I can't imagine a fit mal or two on the end of the lead! Salukis are def easier to walk on the pulling front!

Good move carrying the spares, a warning to us all - don't leave home without them.
