Hi all! Just looking for your thoughts. My husband was diagnosed with T1 about two years and a half ago.
For the past few months he has complained about dizziness. It seems to come and go and it's worse when he is sitting down. He says when he's out and about he doesn't feel it. He's very active - exercises on the treadmill 5x a wee for 60 min, usually runs 5ks and says exercising helps as well. It's not hypo-related, he has a freestyle libre and is usually within normal ranges when he feels it. I worry it may be stress but I worry more it may be something else. Just wondering if anyone else has felt it, esp athletes? Any ideas guys? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Tx.
I agree, it could be low blood pressure, or a sudden drop, especially after eating a meal but not exclusively. However, he needs to see his doctor and explain what is happening. It cold be a lot of different things.
Hi both. Thanks for the quick replies. That was the first thing we thought. He has been to his GP before and had his BP measured and it was normal. The GP was a bit vague and could not tell the cause. Unless we buy a BP monitor to measure his BP throughout his dizzy spells I'm not sure how else to know for sure!

There are several possibilities, even something simple like dehydration. It does need investigating and G.P. needs to either sort out the cause or refer your husband to a specialist. http://www.medicinenet.com/dizziness_dizzy/article.htm
