Might be worth you telling us what happened or what you fear will happen?
 
was very poorly 2 weeks ago being type 2 thought it was odd pain in my side no appetite then upset tummy for 2 days called 111 sent ambulance up arrival at A&E blood test done rushed into resuscitation then I CU for central line as they tried from every angle even my foot to get fluids in me . I am discharged from hospital now but living on my own I'm so scared of it returning and help welcome
 
Agree with @bulkbiker ,and maybe also tell us what medication you are on - if it is a SGLT-2 inhibitor, the chances for DKA is a bit bigger...

Edited to add a question: Are you a type 2 or a type 1? Suppose it is type 2...

Hi and welcome to the forum. Can you give us a bit more info please. Are you on any medication, do you test your levels, do you follow any diet?
