Hi could some one please explain to me who DLA is for, the parents or the child (under 16) and exactly what it is for? Dispute with ex husband
 
Hi @michellecross, Do you mean the Disability Living Allowance? I looked it up on Wikipedia but being an Aussie I am guessing. Perhaps the relevant UK department might be best able to help you.?
 
Might I suggest that you arrange a telephone appointment with the CAB? Not only will they give you up to date information on DLA but they will also be able to advise you on the changeover to PIP. Good luck.
