My 9 year old daughter has type 1 diagnosed 3 months ago & looks like she is coming out if her honeymoon period because her bloods are rising after food & at night even though we are carb counting. My question is Does it get easier to regulate her insulin now after the honeymoon period ?
Well the pancreas playing it's tricks with it's fits & false starts will be taken out of the equation when it's over..
But the teen years..? (forget that prospect for now.)
You will certainly get more of a handle on the insulin regime with the pancreatic joker out the way...
