Plenty of articles online saying that for Diabetics prescribed Metformin, there may be additional health benefits on top of the reduced blood glucose. Including potentially living longer than non-diabetics???

I do wonder though if the longevity thing is more a result of long lasting lifestyle changes following diagnosis than it is due to the effects of the drug itself.
