Just makes you wonder WHY the dog did bite, and getting a good hiding for it? NO, there are other ways of punishment for an animal, unless it was a fierce, unprovoked and vicious attack by more than one dog on another animal or person/s, then you would have to fight it or them, off.

You'll be surprised how much damage even a small dog can do..

I saw a chihuahua kill an Alsatian once..... It stuck in its throat..!

As a 'stray walker' I was bitten by a collie type dog the other week. I think he thought I was a cow that needed herding. I had a certain satisfaction that his bottom jaw seemed to t get caught in my stretchy walking trousers as I pulled away from him . He retreated with I suspect a sore mouth. I retreated with a sore bleeding leg and a great rip in an expensive pair of trousers.
I've lost my confidence a bit though. There are loose dogs at most of the farms but the owners aren't always around. I walk or run alone, and often don't see another person for miles so I would get no help.

I didn't take myself to the doctors, just sluiced the area with the antiseptic I use for my pump sites. I knew I was up to date with tetanus . It's more or less healed and has had no effect on glucose levels.

Take it your up to date with tetanus jab :-/ ?
