Hello justfoundout,
The good news is that a HbA1C of 5.2% is within the normal range of 3.5-5.5%. This suggests that your blood sugars haven't been running permanently high or spiking excessively high on a day-to-day basis.
The not so good news is that a 6.3 mmol/l fasting result is considered "impaired fasting glycaemia".
As for your oral glucose tolerance test, I'm afraid that any reading above 11.1 will usually be taken as confirmation of diabetes (Normal range is sub 7.8 mmol/l at +2 hours).
Getting hold of a test meter from your practice nurse will give you and your doctor a better idea of how your body is handling your regular diet.
Good luck,
timo.
