Dr Just Phoned After GTT - Help!

Hello. I've just joined the forum and would appreciate some help.

I've had all sorts of weird symptoms (including hypoglycemic) for approx a year and had been diagnosed with migraine and fibromyalgia. At the suggestion of the hospital physio I had a GTT at my GP's practice and after the 2 hour second blood test I only just managed to drive home, feeling totally lightheaded, sick and faint.

The Dr has just called to say that my first blood test reading was 5.1 but my second, 2 hours after taking the Lucozade, was way down at 1.8. Neither he or any of the other GP's in the practice could understand why instead of going up my blood had reacted by going down so dramatically.

Has anyone else come across this and what could be the cause??

Thanks. I meant to add that he said I had Reactive Hypoglycemia but I wanted to know if others had experienced this or knew what could cause it.
