i'm looking for some driving glasses to reduce the glare
I used to have a pair many years ago - which were really good - showed up the RED and reduce the glare - BUT cant remember what they were - Now a lot of reviews seem to say they are nogood , with these new LED light or generally reducing glare
any suggestions on glasses that actually work -
i dont wear glasses , so this is just driving in bright daylight , dusk and night
You say that you do not wear glasses, but have you had recent eye tests? If you get dazzled by LED lights at night-time, it may be a sign of cataracts.
I cannot recommend sunglasses for day-time. I just wear prescription sunglasses
I use to get affected by glare of oncoming headlights at night and it was because of cataracts, I’ve had both of them done and it has definitely helped, I had a pair of yellow glasses, I still use them as LED headlamps do still tend to be too bright for me I got my pair from Amazon , I think with or without cataracts LED headlamps can affect certain people , but from a driver with a car with LED headlamps they are excellent to drive with .
thanks , for the reply
I have the HI Led bulbs
but as i found out recently - very expensive to fix the lights - my offside one went intermittently and £650 later fixed !!!!
needed the bumper off and light out and then the control units changed - while out they did change all and replace LED bulbs
i looked at youtube videos to do myself orginally ....
Yeah unfortunately LED lamps are expensive to renew I’ve had a few “ LED cars “ and not had to change any I’m fortunate enough or unfortunate enough to have a “Motobiity “ vehicle so I would’nt have to pay , but like most modern cars a lot of jobs now prove difficult to do yourself
