Hi All, Just found out I am Insulin dependant, only a couple of weeks back.
I've been told that I need to check my BS before I drive, and every 2hrs.

They mentioned if the BS was low, I should nt drive.

Its a lot to take in and I cant recall if they said below 5 or below 4 BS not to drive.

I'll ask next time I see them, but that will be a while. Could anyone confirm what the rules are.

Many thanks

Found the info Guess I should of looked harder.

5 or less take a snack before driving 4 or less do not drive

Most importantly, you must inform DVLA and your insurance company.

Keep fast acting carbohydrate and testing kit with you in your car at all times. Best not to leave testing kit when you're not in car, as extreme temperatures can prevent it working.
