good morning everyone, i have been very carefull with what i have been eating after a visit from the dr. hba1c was 8.6. bs have gone down, but i am now experiencing a very dry mouth. this is worse in the mornings. i thought this was a side effect off high sugar levels? i have never had this before, even when levels were 13+
 
Hi I found that this happened to me as soon as I started to take metformin and even now a year later it comes and goes.
 
thanks for your reply, i am on the maximum SR metformin a day and have been on it for over 2yrs, since i was diagnosed. bit odd how this is now happening :roll:
 
I've always had a dry mouth on and off since being diagnosed. It could be the Metformin, don't know for sure. I tend to drink alot more cups of tea because it.
