I've got an appointment today with my DSN, the start of my road to a pump. Anyone advise on any questions I should be asking.
I have a few but I always think of more after appointment when you have time to process the info.
Also a few people gave me advice about 10 days ago about low carb eating I have reduced my carb intake daily to around 130, and have seen a marked improvement in my control, ( less peaks and troughs). So thanks to all for that.

Although many people have proven to themselves that low carbing works for them the NHS still has some hold outs. You may have to be diplomatic if your DN is still one that says, "carbs with every meal". If it comes up in natural conversation fine but if it comes to a knock down drag out argument you may have to smile and nod your head. They like that.

I am a type 2 and there is no doubt that low carbing gives me better control. I read a letter from a woman in Australia whose son is type 1. He took to low carbing and he found that his control improved also. The draw back for some type 1's, I am told, is if they are underweight to start with they have another problem.
