New from DUK https://www.diabetes.org.uk/OnlineShop/ ... nt-e-book/
I've glanced at it but it's long so don't really know how good it is.
I have to say the examples use higher amounts of carbs than I would eat (and people think eat a lot  ) but the principles apply at whatever level you eat.
I think this is the same book that DUK sent me back in 2009. Its quite good but I also wouldn't want to eat some of the meals listed. Its just a shame that adjustment of insulin to carb ratios is not explained which is what most people want to know.
I looked through it the other night and yes as for basic information to an individual off the ground it's not bad..
Must admit like Phoenix I was also taken back by the amount of carbs in the meals
Strange according to some I'm also do nothing but stuff carbs all day! But wouldn't dream of eating the portion sizes that the 'case' people ate in their meals...
