Not quite sure what these measurements mean Neil :think: Did the Opthamologist not say if your vision would be sufficient to pass the DVLA criteria?

without eyeglasses, I'm effectively blind...

are you able to read a standard numberplate at the required distance when wearing your prescription glasses (or contact lenses)?

Visual fields (all licences)
The standard for the horizontal field remains the same at 120 degrees. Until now, there was no requirement for how this was to be split each side of the centre; in theory, someone with only 20 degrees to the right but 100 degrees to the left could pass. From May 1, an extra condition is added that there must be at least 50 degrees to each side. This does seem to be a sensible change, though it may lead to few existing licences being revoked.

It appears your results apply to the "Visual Fields" parameter... you have to have at least 120 degrees with at least 50 degrees each side... with 103 degrees, you can't see quite far enough from side to side...
