A quick question. A friend bought 'sour' red cherries and said they were better for T2 diabetics than normal cherries. I think she is totally wrong. Your views

I eat small quantities (e.g. around 50g weight/5-6g carbs ) of both frozen and fresh black cherries, and these are OK on my low carb diet.
A link I found via Google suggested that sour cherries were very minimally lower carb than this, so I think your friend needs to back up their claim with some data.

I eat cherries and find that they don’t affect my BS much provided I don’t have to many however another T2 may have a completely different result as we all have different tolerances to carbs.
