I cant get my head around this! If you start to have a hypo in your sleep your liver dumps glucose right????
So if thats the case why dosen't that happen all the time?
It does. Your liver and pancreas constantly work hand in hand to regulate your blood sugars. The problem comes when you take medication that lowers your BS and your liver can't keep up or you haven't eaten.
I have posted another question asking if its ok to skip meals and take only one lot of meds. Well not asking as such more of a theory really but if i dont eat as much, take one lot of meds shouldn't that make life easier on the organs??? I really seem to be twisting myself in knots. Thinking to much
Me neither and would rather not know from what i hear about it. I cant do diet control either coz I'm the "skinny" type (haven't been called that for years  ). Ha, thats a joke in its self as its the meds that makes you put on weight anyway especially as they are still playing with mine.
Hi mistee! Can't help you with the meds, am on insulin myself. Regarding liver dumping, if you exercise hard your liver might use up everything it has in stock thus making the risk of hypos higher until it has filled up its depot again. Also, I've been told that alcohol diasables the function since the liver is kept busy dealing with that.
