This is a brilliant development and will be a boon both to hypo victims and those who have to look after them. The present GlucaGen system is much too complicated and often results in emergency services being called out when one simple nasal spray, that anyone could use, could solve all that wasted time and effort.
Acceptance by the EMA can't come soon enough. It's important that hypos are corrected as soon as possible and it is even better if comas can be avoided or can be speedily reversed. In some countries hypos requiring medical assistance are recorded and this can ultimately cause many unwelcome problems.
