I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.

Looking for advise please. The picture shows a typical picture of my overnight and morning BGs. Nice and flat until 6 and then boom! It's takes me until lunchtime to get back on a even keel.

The only way I've found to stop it is a small dose of novorapid at 530. But not all the keen on doing that everyday.

Any other ideas?

Thanks.

Pumping? So you can have your basal rise from 4:30 onwards to deal with the dawn phenomenon.

Or on mdi you could have a look at timings and dosage of your basal insulin. But it looks like increasing it might run a risk of hypoing overnight. So, sans pump, an early morning bolus is probably your best bet on mdi, that is quite an early morning though.
