Turnips and Tuna fish!
I have been invited out to a barbecue tonight in early celebration of my birthday next week. So I decided I aught to go and buy some clothes that fit. My current trousers resembled clown's trousers as I have lost almost 5 stone in weight.

So on reaching the shop I start by picking clothes that are a size smaller than my current ones. They had to go back to be swapped for the next size down as they were too big!!!!!

On trying the smaller ones, I found they were STILL TOO BIG!

I eventually ended up with clothes a full 4 sizes smaller than the ones I got dressed in this morning!

It has been such a motivating day, I am walking around with a smile on my face.

Still working on getting down into the safe zone with my BS but I am seeing an improvement, which is great.

I just had to share! I hope you don't mind?

Regards,

Carol

Congratulation, losing that amount of weight takes dedication.

Hope everyone notices and says how great you look.

Have a great BBQ

Whoopeeee dooo ! Celebrate in syle and stick two sausages in a doggy bag for me lol (might kill me those with my HbA1c's) lol

It's a great feeling, isn't it Carol. How on earth did you keep your big size trousers up? lol. Braces?. Congratulations!!

youve put smile on my face too look>>>

congratulations, enjoy that well deserved feeling

That was part of the problem, Beshlie - the big trousers kept falling low! Very annoying. LOL.

My brother and sister-in-law are putting on the barbecue and they even went out and bought a new one so that it would be gluten free and safe for me. Bless 'em. I will stick to steak and salad so that hopefully shouldn't spike my BS levels.

Off to enjoy myself.

Regards,

Carol
