I do 30 minutes fat burning day one and day 2 is 25 minutes toning with weights. I tested again at 6.15 and got a reading of 7 so I am pleased. My numbers have been going up so I have tweaked my diet to more low carb than previously and upped my exercise toutineAnything that puts you under some stress, either physical or emotional can cause a liver dump.
Nothing wrong with exercise, it's all good, but vigorous will temporary raise levels, and gentle will lower them.
If you can use weights even better, muscles are brilliant at using up sugar.
It was after a 30 minutes impactful aerobics routine. I got a 7 later on so pleased its going in the right directionAlmost certainly, gentle exercise tends to lower levels, and more impactful exercise tends to, but not always cause liver dumps. Also you were only testing at about 1 hour, so your readings were essentially the same, that's a good result.
I sometimes have the same problem, but for me I can be around 7/8 and go out for a 30/40 mile bike ride only to come home with levels of 16-20. I think this link will give you some understanding as to what’s going on, though it won’t help, as exercise is supposed to be good for the body, but we sometimes the stressful exercising can cause more problemsI tested my BG before lunch and it was 10 which is lower than its been in a while. My lunch was a smoked mackerel fillet, big bowl of salad leaves, cucumber, celery, 6 olives, a tomato and a tbs of home made kidney bean salad. I drank water ( 4 glasses) and then did my 30 minutes aerobics workout. I only finished the exercise 20 minutes before testing my BG again and it had gone to 10.4. Would the exercise have pushed my BG up? I can't see anything in my lunch that would have done it
