My air fryer gets almost as much use as my IP it's great for cooking things like rutabaga (swede) fries or cubes and sausages and bacon and a whole host of other things can be cleaner and quicker than frying on the gas hob.I didn’t. never used a fryer
I do have an air fryer but we have a rather small kitchen so it might be a way of saving space but as you say while using the IP base as air fryer you can't cook with it but I just like gadgets.
Couple of things I have invested in apart from pans is a spare inner pot and a set of sealing rings of different colours for different kinds of food.
I would definitely get a second IP some time if I can.
Isn't the selling point of air fryers that they cut down the consumption of fat? I thought fat was now deemed to be a good thing.
