eye tests glucose levels

What finger prick values do you guys target when getting your sight tested. My eye sight varies quite a lot depending on my glucose level and so far I've always got my eyes tested with my figure prick values about 6.5 but I'm now wondering whether that is too low and maybe I should go for 8.5.
 
Well I haven't actually heard of anyone wanting to achieve a specific BG level when having an eye test. Do you mean a normal eye test at the opticians or a retinal scan.
 
Optician, for new glasses. I need a different lens prescription at 4 to what i need at 12, the lower my bg the sharper my sight.
