Your HbA1c is perfectly normal. Your morning fastings might put you in the pre-diabetic range but you have to bear in mind there are many factors that influence morning fasting levels and they cannot be relied upon for any diagnosis. This is why any abnormal Fasting test is always followed up by an HbA1c for diagnosis purposes.
If I were you I would forget about morning fasting and concentrate on your pre and post meal levels, and the rises you see from before to after. This will tell you a lot more.
