It looks like you live somewhere wher blood glucose is measured in mg/dl. Most people on here use mmol/l, so I included a handy chart to convert.

Your 178 converts to 9.9, which is on the high side.
So it might be time to start medication to help your diet, or you might want to adjust your diet, or both.

Do you know what your hba1c is?
