fatty/lumpy where i used to inject

i used to inject in my lower abdomen, but i stopped as it got lumpy. i was hoping that it would go away but it hasnt and this is a yr later. I work out alot so my abs show on the left of my stomach but not on the right as its fatty. the left side nvr got lumpy from the injections just the right. is there anything i can do for this???

These are called Lipos (lipohypertrophy) which can be caused by over-injecting in the same area. I couldn't honestly say if it will go or not as some people find they do and others don't, I still have a Lipo from when I use to inject in the stomach when I first started using insulin, someone told me you can get treatment on the NHS but to be honest I've never bothered looking into this, if your concerned ask your GP or Consultant.
