Hello visitorf1 .

Ask your GP about this to be on the safe side of things .
It may be a circulation thing?
My feet can be freezing sometimes despite wearing 2 pairs of socks and footwear !

Here we can only offer supportive help , no one is medically trained or qualified to give any medical advice.
Support through our own experience's of having diabetes in our lives ...

Anna.

I've noticed I'm generally colder now I'm on medication. Blood pressures fine, no extremity problems, just something I've had to accept. It's a pain but it won't kill me.

HI Visitorf1,

You must be fed up trying to sort this cold problem out.

Apart from being anemic, I am not to sure what to say.

Could it be possible for you to have a short break in a hot country just to find out if the same cold experience still happens.
(just a thought as it may be a climate thing and also a good excuse for a well deserved holiday)

Roy.

I'm type 1, so not sure if this is relevant to you, but I can feel very cold and tired if my sugars go low too quickly, especially if hypo, but not always. Do you have a meter? Maybe test your glucose levels.
As i say, not sure if relevant though, so just a thought.

Have you tried not exercising for a week to see if it's the cause or just a timing issue? You can always go low calorie to counteract the lack of giggling.

Sounds like hell, I've lived on soups and it's not fun. Maybe some different medication would help. Sorry I can't be of more help. I'd avoid the exercise until it heats up a bit.

Type 2 diabetic I exercise intensely (run and lift weights) I can also get extremely cold after running I find the key is to get some food immediately after to help me recover then a warm shower. Blueberry milk shake with banana or protein drink within 20mins of exercising. I agree with you most of my info especially relating to sports and diabetes has come from the Internet. Good kuck
