Hi guys,
Nearly end of summer!
I finally figured out what I want to do with my life… (I think)…
(CID) criminal investigative detective…
Just thinking, how many people will actually look at me and not my diabetes?
 
Who's gonna know?
Are you gonna announce yourself as Criminal Investigative Diabetic ? (joking, sorry)
Seriously - I think you will be required to demonstrate good control and it's even harder for roles involving driving and/or firearms etc.

Edited to add: - I am pretty sure we've had forum members in the past who were Police officers.

What do they expect me to do? Log every one a year or two before joining? (Sarcasm but not a bad idea)

i think that is a great goal to have. And I know you are going to smash it. Enjoy the rest of the summer holidays
 
I’m torn again. Film director or cid (my top two opinions for a year or more but apparently directors don’t get paid much and almost no pension)

This sounds good.
I know where I live the local library has director workshops during school holidays. Just a bit of fun but you get to be a film director for a week.
