T1 for over 50 years --
This article is spot on!
A an asthma sufferer from the age of 9 months up to just over 9 years I was identified as a diabetic by my mother (Not any of the doctors) and then stayed in hospital for about 2 months after which I have never had another asthma attack - just a state of general slight shortage of breath which is probably due to starting smoking at the age of 15 because I was not allowed any sweets of cakes which was very different to all my mates > > > >
.
Over the years I have met many diabetics T1 who experienced the same asthma then diabetic sequence.

Thanks for the publishing of this article as it confirms that it is not something I imagined or made up.
