Hi I was diagnosed on 1st October and got to see nurse today for first time been put on high blood pressure tablets , metformin and statins , HbA1c is 61 nurse said to aim for low 50s for this ?? I'm 39 and had severe pancreatitis 12 years ago which they are connecting to why I have developed T2 xx

Ah 61 isn't too bad (I was 103 first time!). Follow low carb and you should be fine.

Under 42mmol is non-diabetic so a target is somewhere near that I suppose - my last one was 54 mmol and the doc said that is fine. x
