3.9 to 5.0 is within the error margin, and I'd have recorded it as 4.7 as well. The numbers it's been giving me have been fairly sensible, with variations that were not unexpected. Until this morning. It gave me a morning number of 3.9. I tested again, immediately, and got 5.0. Third time I got 4.7, which is the one I recorded (I've got the MySugr app)
The thing that's worrying me though is - how consistently low is it reading, if it even is consistent? Am I getting false reassurance from it, or should I pay attention more to the trends? Or should I just bite the bullet and get a different meter? I've just bought a pile of test strips for the blasted thing too.

I expect you'll be nicely surprised when you have your next hba1c done!
If you are in Engand you should be able to register to get your test results online.I'm psyching myself up for the assault course that is the GP surgery phone system. The practice is great, but the phone system is ... baroque at times.
I will go to the course if it's offered again I think. As you say, there may be something in there - I did want to be armed with 'these are my numbers, this is what I've been doing' rather than going in cold, of course here I'm assuming that what I'm doing is moving the numbers in the right direction. Time will tell.
Thank you

That then negates entirely the need to go through the receptionists.
I do use Patient Access but I've not got access to my test results on there, is there another system that I've missed?
Being able to not bother the receptionists would be great. They are a good/helpful bunch but very busy and short staffed (who'd've thought it in the current situation?)
You have to request to have the test results included.. it doesn't come along with it so far as I know.I do use Patient Access but I've not got access to my test results on there, is there another system that I've missed?
