Hello,

Apologies if this has been asked previously.... I have my first retinal screening this Friday at 4pm.

I was planning on travelling down south to a friends Friday evening, will I be able to see? I was thinking of getting the train rather than driving.

That's an excellent idea, if you have the dilating drops it will make your vision blurry for several hours after so driving would be out of the question. Hope all goes well.

Yeah driving wouldn't be possible. The drops can make you feel slightly woozy with double vision but it should wear off after a few hours anyway

If it's sunny, I'd also suggest taking a pair of sunglasses. They are invaluable for this!

I was fine after about 3-4 hours.
