Fixing the App ...?

Can anyone provide an update on fixing the app to work on tablets - I can't like anything, and also when I quote people it doesn't get included so my quote looks disjointed

Any update would be much appreciated - I'm now using it via chrome on my iPad but miss using the app on my phone.

Penfold - I'll tag @Giverny for you as she is the staff techie wizard around these parts.
 
Thanks @AndBreathe I've seen a few negative comments from people about the apps not working - would hate people to start leaving due to a few tech glitches.

I want to be able to Like things again
 
@PenfoldAPD I cannot like things through the app either, and it doesn't show me any un-read messages or notifications any more. So must be a deffo problem with the app!

It's a shame, as the app is so easy to use too. Hope they get it sorted!

It's such a pain at the minute. In order to simply 'like' a post I have to click onto web view and the log in EVERY time I go on the app.

I haven't got time to do this. Hope you fix it as this is s great forum
 
Hi Penfold. I sent a PM to @Giverny who said they've sent numerous emails to the external bids that do the App about various issues but had received no replies. That was over a week ago. Maybe if you and others also send PMs then the request to fix will be escalated. It's really peeshing me off too. It's not just the likes but being able to do a quoted reply is very hit and miss, if you try to go to the original of a quoted message sometimes it will but mostly says the thread/message has most likely been deleted.....

My workaround is to do a quoted reply and use
 

This has been going on at least a month. I presume Tapatalk must get some remuneration for running app so maybe someone higher up souls look at changing providers if Tapatalk can't be a***d to fix problem

Tapatalk.com - based in Santa Monica. I've been on website & sent an e mail direct. Perhaps if enough of us do it it they might pull their finger out. Otherwise we need to badger our techies to finding someone a bit less laid back in their attitude to run the app
