just answered post in diabetes discussions - this was what i found years ago. i dont have flu shots now. If this is the effect you have i would suggest just go with it and increase insulin with very great care, as sometime - in my case i had weeks of insulin need going up higher and higher - insulin need will drop back very fast. But test a lot, and rest up as much as possible - i now think the enormous swings in blood glucose for 8 weeks may have caused my later il health. At the time we couldn't test much as we only got max 4 tests per day.
