Fluid Retention

Hi all

My legs have swollen quite dramatically over the past couple of days and I'm obviously retaining fluids, which is something I have never been troubled with before.

I'm T2 taking 1500mg Metformin daily, and trying valiantly to alter my diet permanently; however my BG isn't at all stable and is always on the high side (sometimes very)

Is fluid retention related?

Just a quickie update.
This turned out to be cellulitis, and whilst it is still quite painful...it's improving.
