It's pretty windy and miserable here in the East Midlands. Flooded roads but nothing as bad as Wales and South West England. No fear of my cats being blown about by the wind - they are in hibernation til spring I think - sofas or beds permanently attached to their undersides.

Same here-my fence panels are taking a real bashing and there's flying bits of rubbish and carrier bags flying round the estate since someones wheelie bin went over in the night-no animals just yet though although we've got off lightly in the east midlands-my dad has suffered property damage in Devon.

I now have this lovely image in my mind of cats with bed springs attached to various parts of their bodies . I took Rosie (my Border Terrier) for a much curtailed walk this morning, it was not nice! Apparently we are expecting a visit from "Ruth" later... She sounds a particularly angry creature who'll be hitting us with 25ft waves and winds up to 150mph. Maybe Rosie won't get an evening walk, lol.
 

Good grief! 'Ruth' sounds scary!! A night indoors is in order I reckon!
 
I'm in South Wales too - no cats flying past the windows yet, but as we had a power cut just as the Wales v Ireland match was about to start nearly had a flying telly.
 
......and to add insult to injury, we lost to Ireland in the International (rugby). Not just lost!..... we were swamped

Lol, Vanessa.. I'd as soon not watched the match, it was awful
 
Yep might have been better if the power had stayed off!
