That probably depends where @HannahWenty is going in Australia as it is a large country with multiple time zones.Hi @HannahWenty Do you split your basal insulin 50/50? If so then you will no real worries doing it at the same time as there is very little in time difference EXCEPT daytime is nighttime
I lived in Melbourne for two and a half years and loved most of it ... I am sure there was the odd second which was just OK.I have been twice and loved every second I was there
Daylight saving finishes on Sunday, April 7, 3:00 am and goes back to being 10 hours in front. If she is travelling to Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra or Hobart, they are 11 hours different from the UK so one hour will not make much of a difference.
No day light saving to worry about with these ones except Adelaide which has the daylight saving craze,so just the time zone differences in Australia to work out, AWST, ACST, AEST.However, if she is travelling to Perth, there are only 8 hours difference so I would suggest tweaking the basal time and, maybe meeting in the middle (if that does not work out too early or late) and changing the time by 2 hours which the basal should be able to cope with.
Likewise, Adelaide, Darwin, Alice Springs and Brisbane may need a tweak.
Yes it does, I have a habit of ignoring daylight saving in the UK, and phone when it get the most annoyance value with some of my relatives. In fact, the relative time difference changes for all Australian cities.

This may help to show the time differences.
Wherever she is going, I am jealous. Australia is a great country ... even if their summer is coming to an end and they have lethal spiders.
Thanks @helensaramay I didn't even think to ask on what part she is going!!
Same here welljell. I have been twice and loved every second I was there
Still cool there today.Perth will be hot .... watch out for that
http://www.weatherzone.com.au/wa/perth/perthWA just sweltered through a record-breaking summer, but here's why Perth missed out
08:41 EDT
Western Australia has just experienced its hottest summer on record but Perth has bucked the trend and posted its third consecutive summer of cooler-than-average temperatures.

One by "Afferbeck Lauder" (which is strine for alphabetical order) has some good stuff in it.There is not room here to explain Aussie slang and culture but there are some sites on the net about 'Strine' (an exaggerated version of how we pronounce 'Australian'.
