You may be right just been googling seems it may be something to do with bile acids and the intestines

Hi Maelstroem, did they also test you for vitamin D? You said that you avoid the sun. I also did and I had a vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D deficiency can be a contributing factor in prediabetes.

No @Rillum not had Vitamin d checked I've asked several times for another reason but my Dr doesn't think it's necessary
