I have been low (and now medium) carbing for many years and never even knew about Bernstein or that its called 'low carbing', I have always had a huge appetite so any other diet with 2oz of this and 1oz of that and whatever only lasted for a couple of weeks or so and then I caved in because there was never enough food on my plate, even though I bought smaller plates (trying to kid myself)
So I have always eaten really big portions of vegetables, the really low carb ones and lost weight, whenever I reached a plateau phase I would increase my activity levels and soon started to lose weight again.
