Hi everyone im trying to get better control of my diabetes and have been recently keeping a list of food that raise and dont raise my sugar levels.
Foods that raise sugar levels are
White Bread/Toast
cheese onion pastie
Fish Fingers
Lucozade
Foods that dont raise or affect my Sugar Levels
Drinks Such as Pepsi coke cola
Baked Beans
Fruit
Ginger biscuit
Dextrose Tablets
been doing this as i realised foods sometimes im boulusing and going hypo then slowly been realising that certain foods dont raise my sugar
is anyone here experiencing similar problem like me regarding foods that dont raise there sugar?.

Dextrose Tablets just say sugar iwould recommend carb and calolie counting it gives an excellent idea of portion size and count with less weighting.
If you've written that list in response to post-bolus hypos, it might be that things like dextrose tablets and biscuits don't seem to be raising your levels but, depending on the amounts you take and the amount of active insulin on board from the last bolus shot, they probably are raising you but at the same time the insulin is lowering, so it seems like they're doing nothing. It would be very surprising if dextrose didn't raise bg, because it's, erm, glucose. Try experimenting with the amounts and consider how much iob there is.
