Foot care and blisters

I have managed to gain a huge blister on my foot (my weakness for not so sensible shoes) and it is turning a little on the grotty side. So far I have washed it and applied liberal amounts of tea tree oil. I was wondering if anyone has any advice? It is very sore and starting to throb.

It would be a good idea to get it looked at by podiatrist, DN or practise nurse - whoever you can get in to see.
In the meantime I would keep it as dry as you can - especially now that you have liberally annointed it with tea tree oil! And also keep it covered; you can get soft padded plasters at the chemists which are helpful.

Sometimes the smaller the injury the more it affects you. Hope it feels better soon.

ps Ditch the shoes and buy some nicer ones that won't attack you!

My pleasure! 8) But I did say ditch them if they attack you!
