The great blinking idiot I am, sat at Luton airport ready to go to French Alps skiing and I've forgot new insulin cartridges! Might have enough levemir but defo not enough novorapid! What a wally!

Anyone else done that and if so what's the process?

Cheers

Unless you can obtain some Novo before you fly you'll have to purchase some over there, if you have a copy of your repeat prescription that should do as prove at a pharmacy or you may need a Dr to prescribe the insulin.

Anyway hope you get sorted @slip and enjoy your holiday.

I ran out of levemir couple of years ago, forgot to pack spares, had to ski over to a pharmacy in Val D'Isere and simply bought over the counter no prescrip needed or anything.

Thanks for the replies, did think about getting someone to post some from home but we'll see - failing all else it's no/ultra low carbs for me

All sorted, trip to local pharmacy, bought disposable pens over the counter. Now off skiing ;-)
