Free style libre sensor

HI All, so i decided to go for a free style litre 2 sensor free sample, however how do i find out if i can get it on prescription? i currently use the finger prick method using the contour strips and with the amount i use far exceed the value of the sensors.

i live in dorset.

It depends on the area you live in. I used to live in Surrey and didn't even know what freestyle libre is until they told me. And my diabetic nurse asked me if I wanna join a trial for freestyle libre and I said why not, so that's how I got my libre on prescription.

But when I moved to west London and changed my GP, and got my first appointment with my diabetic nurse, she didn't know what it is and I explained her, duh. I feel like only posh areas got it on prescription while poorer part like west London, they don't even know what this fandy dandy gimmick is -_-
