Hi,
My wife has type 1 and I bought Libre for her.
We have the following problem, how it is possible to log all data (sugar, carbs, insulin) into one place.
We thought about Libre Link app, as I know you can log carbs and insulin but cant import sugar readings from reader.
In Libre desktop soft you can enter all data but you can't carry pc all time to log data several times during a day.
So we are looking for solution, any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.I download all my stuff to an excel spreadsheet. The exportable logs on the Libre desk top transfer easily to excel and you can add columns for anything else you fancy. It just means entering them once a day or whenever.
Thanks.
We were looking for Android app to combine all together.
That is perfect but her phone doesn't support that, so if we use LibreLink it will store all data but not sugar values, if we use desktop version then you have to carry it to log everything.I use my phone to scan with LibreLink and I can add carbs, insulin and exercise directly to it on my phone, plus I can make a note if I want to. I signed in to LibreView on my pc as well. The phone automatically transfers everything to LibreView, no need to fiddle with cables.
The phone app already allows you to look back on different things and the LibreView gives you even more pretty graphs and stats.
I hope this helps.
I meant NFC connection, In case of NFC supported phone everything is easy, as I know you can save everything in Libre Link app including sugar, carbs, insulin and etc. What do you mean by "her phone doesn't support that"?
I didn't now that, I thought reader was only for scanning and was not able to store any other data, withing several days we will have the first batch of sensors and readers and I'll have a look, that will solve everything. If you use the reader you should be able to add in food and insulin, and also use it as a conventional BG finger prick tester, it can also calculate bolus. You may need to go into settings and/or healthcare professional settings to enable this, you'll need the code for that. The code is easily found on the internet, but you do need to be aware of what you're setting and read the manual.
